The winners of the People’s Choice and Artists’ Choice awards from the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County’s “R.E.D. Show” have been named.
Each of the first place Choice Award winners will receive a $150 cash prize sponsored by ArtWRKD, “A full-service Art Consortium,” in Newtown.
For the People’s Choice Award, first place was given to Janet Schuler for “Perseus,” colored pencil. Runner-ups were Jane Ramsey, “Wolf Moon,” charcoal on paper; Christi Hetrick, “Pull Up a Chair,” oil on linen panel; and Nanci Hellmuth, “And a Touch of Magic,” archival print.
For the Artists’ Choice Award, First Place went to Jane Ramsey, “Wolf Moon,” charcoal on paper. runners-up were Janet Schuler, “Perseus,” colored pencil; Nanci Hellmuth, “And a Touch of Magic,” archival print; Martha Wirkijowski, “Doppleganger,” oil on canvas; Gun Marie Nalsen, “Sunset at the Beach,” wool roving and felt; and Constance McBride, “Break Through,” mixed media on wood.
