The Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County created a reusable shopping bag to support Doylestown Borough Council’s ban on one-use plastic bags, which began June 23.
The group partnered with Doylestown’s own Simply Fresh market to distribute 500 bags on the first day of the single-use plastic bag ban.
A New Hope family funded the project.
