Broadway fans know that Hamilton has star power.
And Gwen Hamilton sure delivered on Sunday at Lehigh University during the Philadelphia Catholic League Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The Archbishop Wood sophomore won the 400 meter in 57.84 seconds, the 800 meter at 2:29.85 and the mile in 5:20.65.
Hamilton won the 400 meter by a full three seconds over second-place Cordelia Adenuga of Bonner and Prendie, and won the 800 meter by over four seconds over second-place Aleah Lazar of Archbishop Ryan.
Hamilton’s 400 meter and mile time are both likely state qualifiers. The 2024 PTFCA championships take place Feb. 25 at Penn State University.
