Ann M. Geddes of Plumsteadville passed away on November 29, 2023 at Temple University Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 65 years old and the life partner of Matthew Moore.
Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of Lovett Geddes and the late Cora Buckman Geddes.
Ann was a graduate of New Hope-Solebury High School, class of 1975 and received an Associate Degree from Bucks County Community College in 1980. She was an Administrative Assistant in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Departments at Bucks County Community college for 35 years.
Her nieces and nephews and their children provided her with great joy.
Ann was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cross stitch and knitting making beautiful baby quilts for donation to various non-profit organizations within Philadelphia and Bucks Counties.
In addition to her father, Ann is survived by her sister, Jane Busby, her husband, Marc; her brother, James Geddes, and nieces and nephews: Samuel Busby, Kellyann Rogers, her husband, Patrick; James Geddes Jr., his wife, Becca; Shannon Tague, her husband, Vince; as well as great-nieces and nephews: Austen and Gracie Rogers; Logan Geddes and Eloise Tague. Also surviving are Matt’s brother, John Moore, his wife, Deb, sister, Margaret Moore Koppes, as well as Matt’s nephews: Christopher Moore, Alexander Koppel and Sean Moore, his wife, Noelle and great-nephew, Logan. She is also survived by her loving dogs, Zoey, MoJo and Ruger. Ann was predeceased by Diane Geddes and Theo Koopes.
Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday, December 11 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
