Acme Teen Short Film Showcase calls for teen filmmakers

As part of the Hunterdon Teen Arts Festival, the Acme Screening Room will host the Acme Teen Short Film Showcase on June 4. The call for film submissions is open now until May 9.

The Hunterdon Cultural and Heritage Commission is again sponsoring the Hunterdon Teen Arts Festival from May 1 to June 15.

Acme Screening Room in Lambertville, N.J., will present the first Teen Short Film Showcase inviting students from 13-18 years old in Hunterdon, Mercer and Bucks counties to submit their films. Prizes will be awarded for the top three films in two age categories.

The Showcase will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4, with a screening of the winning shorts. It is free to submit films and attend the event, including an opening reception party.
