ACME Screening Room presents film, talk on psychedelic medicines

Posted

Join the Acme Screening Room at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 2, for “Dosed – The Trip of a Lifetime” plus post-screening discussion with Dr. Heidi Dalzell of Lambertville-New Hope Integrative Therapy, Jesse Villars of Baked by the River Dispensary, and Pat Murphy, filmmaker and proponent of psychedelic medicines.

They will answer your questions about the benefits and status of these medicines, including options currently available in Lambertville, N.J.

The film tells the story of a loving mother who is granted the legal right for medicinal use of magic mushrooms. She then embarks on “a courageous journey of personal transformation and healing, exploring possible cures for cancer, like cannabis oil.”

With 25 years’ experience as a therapist, Dr. Dalzell practices from a holistic lens and works with a broad spectrum of clients of all ages. Areas of interest and specialization include eating disorders, trauma, and working with sexual orientation and gender identity.

ACME is located at 25 S. Union St., Lambertville. For information and tickets, visit www.acmescreeningroom.org.
