31st annual Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition opens

The 31st annual Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition opened with an evening reception on March 30 for artists and their guests.

Over one hundred attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, music by singer/guitarist Brian Elliott and images selected by the juror, noted documentary photographer Thom Goertel. Awards were presented during the reception.

Debbie Wolf won Best of Show for “Early Morning Ritual.”

Best Body of Work went to Jennifer Gershon for “Blue Monday,” “Bristol Derby” and “Reidemeister’s Dilemma.”

Joshua Ackerman won second place for “Hair Cut 24” and Elizabeth Jacobs received third place for “Broomsquire.”

Mike Pillows received the Juror’s Selection award for “Feeling Kinda Koi,” and the Spencer Saunders Award for Architecture went to Gregory Adams for “Afternoon Rehearsal.”

Anita Bhala’s received the Abstract Award for “Turning,” Lisa Stolzer won the Nature Award for “Morning’s Necklace,” Christopher Bosse captured the Portraiture Award for “Contemplation,” Diane Emerson received the Still Life Award for “Dahlias” and Linda Heath was honored with the Street Award for “Housemaids in India.”

The exhibit will be on view at Phillips’ Mill in New Hope until April 19, from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and from 1 to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
