A 23-year-old Doylestown man was killed when his vehicle crashed on the northbound Route 611 Bypass, south of North Easton Road, Friday, March 9.
Plumstead Township Police identified the man as Nicholas Sannutti and said he was the only occupant in the vehicle when, according to preliminary investigation, it went off the left side of the roadway before striking several trees. They said they were called to the report of a “roll-over crash” at approximately 6:15 a.m. Sannutti was pronounced dead by Emergency Medical Services at the accident site.
Plumstead officers were assisted at the scene by the Plumsteadville and Doylestown fire companies, Central Bucks EMS, Doylestown Township and Central Bucks Regional police departments. The bypass was re-opened at approximately 9 a.m.
