The writer of “Democracy at stake,” states that the elderly and poor have no IDs to vote or would be disenfranchised from voting. What a farce!
Everyone on Social Security has to prove their identity or they won’t get it. Every welfare program whether federal, state or county better have ID or they won’t get it.
I’m tired of the mantra “the poor and elderly” will be disenfranchised from voting because they have no ID.
As to purging the voter registration lists, why not? Do you want dead people on the lists or people that moved out of state years ago on the list? Why?
The voter lists should be purged every year. Show me the poor and elderly that have no ID to vote and skip me — I’m elderly.
