Marion Stern of New Hope passed away peacefully on January 12 in Doylestown at the age of 92.
Marion was born Marianna Bridget Hennelly in New York, NY on September 28th, 1931. She was the daughter of John Hennelly and Margaret (Molly) Poland Hennelly, both of Ireland. She grew up and was educated in Astoria Queens NY, and moved to Bucks County in the 1950’s. She adored Bucks County and her many, many friends, and was an active member of the community for 70 years. She was a people-person, and for several decades she was a busy residential real estate agent in her beloved New Hope. She was good at selling real estate, but she was great at making new, lifelong friends.
Marion is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert K Stern, and her brother, Jack Hennelly. She is survived by her daughters Robin Heydenberk (Warren Heydenberk), Nina Stern (Stephen Siegel d 2019), her son, Daniel Stern (Nanna Lydiker Stern), her stepson Gregory Stern ( Judy Stern), her grandchildren, Derek, Whitney, Gretchen, Eric, Robert, Sebastian, Isabella, and Lilah, her great-grandchildren, Jojo and Theo, and many beloved friends, nieces, and nephews. Her kindness, humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all.
