Bernadette Quinn

Posted

In loving memory of Bernadette “Bonnie” Quinn, 89, of Sellersville, a devoted Irish wife, mother and grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her. Bonnie, fondly known as Nana, passed peacefully surrounded by family in the morning hours of December 22nd, 2023.

Bernadette was born in Philadelphia in August 1934 to Anna Rose and Daniel Crimlish. She resided in Bridesburg during her childhood years and later moved to Flourtown, PA with her cherished husband, Daniel Quinn Jr. of 42 years, who preceded her in death in 2004. While in Flourtown, Bernadette and Daniel lovingly raised their four children: Bernadette Clayton (David Clayton), Rosemarie Wampler (widow to Robert Wampler), Daniel Quinn (Anita Quinn) and Kevin Quinn (Debra Quinn). She was a devout and active member of St. Genevieve parish community and worked for 30 years as a medical administrator at Chestnut Hill Podiatry. Bernadette moved to Sellersville in 2006 where she embraced an active and involved lifestyle in the company of her dear friends at Village at Rosecliff.

Family was Bonnie’s greatest joy, and she relished every minute spent with her children and grandchildren. Her home was a haven where laughter echoed and memories were crafted, especially around Christmas, her favorite holiday. She embodied the true spirit of an Irish matriarch, taking great pride in being the keeper of family history and traditions. Her legacy and spirit of love will live on, a gentle reminder of the enduring power of family, love, and Irish soul.

Bernadette is survived by her four children (as fore mentioned) and her ten grandchildren; Brianne Clayton (Thomas Friedman), Shannan Clayton, Mollie Kate Clayton, Sean Clayton, Victoria Wampler, Delanie Wampler and Shane Wampler (of Perkasie), Kevin Quinn Jr. and Maeve Quinn (of Seaville) and Keegan Quinn (of Cherry Hill). She will also be sorely missed by Bridey, her ever-present canine companion.
