Posted

Matt Landis, a Central Bucks middle school teacher and award-winning author of five novels for kids, is having a giant live scavenger hunt at the Doylestown Bookshop at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14.

The event, which is free for kids and families, is to celebrate the release of his new series, “National Archive Hunters.”

A local teacher for the past 17 years, Landis said he makes history come alive in his books like he does his classroom every day. There will be trivia, raffles, prizes, and of course, books, at the launch event.

Landis is the author of “League Of American Traitors” (Sky Pony) “The Not-So-Boring-Letters of Private Nobody” (Dial/Penguin) “It’s The End Of The World As I Know It” (Dial/Penguin) “Operation Final Notice” (Dial/Penguin) “National Archive Hunters: Capitol Chase” (Pixel/Ink, May 2024) “National Archive Hunters: Eternal Flame” (Pixel/Ink, May 2025).
