We live in Warminster in Ann’s Choice retirement community and when we looked out the window, we noticed that the ball on top of the tower at the former air station was missing this morning – we think it was a radar ball from when the naval air development center was here but it may now be used as a weather station.
We had very high winds and rain and that may have been what took it down. I told a friend and he suggested that giants were here playing golf and one of them hit the ball into the next county.
