Temple Judea offers holiday services

Temple Judea of Bucks County congregants and their children will welcome Rosh Hashanah at 7 p.m. Sept. 29, with songs, prayers, apples and honey.

On Sept. 30, there will be three services, with Young Families (preschool) meeting 8:45 to 9:15 a.m.; Family Services from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., with music, Torah reading and shofar blowing; and the Main Service for 13-year-olds and up at 11:15 a.m.

Kol Nidre services, at 7 p.m. Oct. 8, will provide a meditative musical evening for those over Bar and Bat Mitzvah age. The service is designed for personal reflection, clearing out the past and making way for the new.

Oct. 9 Yom Kippur services will take place from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. for Young Families and 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. for Family Services; with the Main Service at 11:15 a.m.

Yizkor will take place at 1:30 p.m. There will be Text Study from 2:30 to 4 p.m., followed by an Evening and Nelia Service until 5:30 p.m., at which time worshipers will break their fast together.

Child care is available for a fee, but pre-registration is required. High Holiday tickets are free to members and can also be purchased through the temple website.
