Solebury Snow Folk Art winners named

Judging is finished and the winners have been decided for the 2020 Snow Folk Art contest sponsored by Solebury Township Parks and Recreation and Niece Lumber of Lambertville, N.J.

First place was awarded to Beth Schroeder and Girl Scout Troop 21717 of New Hope for their decorated Christmas tree snow folk creation.

Second place went to Elle Richmond of Solebury Township for her green and brown Girl Scout snow folk.

Third place belonged to Gretchen Rice of Solebury, for her “Santa Mandalorian” snow folk artwork.

Rounding out the group was Category winner Denise Richmond, Solebury Township, with her All-American snow folk with red stripes and bells for buttons.

Snow Folk Art will remain on display at the Solebury Township Municipal building from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The building is closed on Fridays and on holidays. After Jan. 7, remaining entries will simply melt away.
