Six-term incumbent Frank Farry wants strong teacher evaluation system

Posted

State Rep. Frank Farry (R-142), did not respond to attempts to contact him regarding issues in the upcoming election.

However, his website (frankfarry.com) reports that the six-term incumbent is a lifelong Bucks County resident who is a volunteer firefighter and a graduate of Wharton Business School and Rutgers Law School.

Primary issues for Farry include enacting fiscal discipline for the state and supporting public education. His website says he has worked to hold the education system accountable by fighting for a strong teacher evaluation system and a property tax cap. He currently is now working to reform the state’s pension system to protect taxpayers.

Another priority for Farry is the health and welfare of first responders as well as making sure they have the resources they need.

While in law school Farry worked as an intern with the United States Department of Justice. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in April 2002 and worked as “of counsel” for the local firm of Jackson, Cook, Caracappa & Bloom for eight years. As a teenager he worked for Sesame Place in Middletown Township.

The 142nd District serves Langhorne, Langhorne Manor, Lower and Upper Southampton townships and part of Middletown.
