Service of grief, healing, restoration set

Posted

Individually and as a community, people are going through a period of profound grief and loss.

“We grieve the illness and death of so many because of COVID-19 in our country and throughout the world. We grieve the separation of family and friends. We grieve the loss of jobs, hopes, and dreams. We grieve the loss of inclusivity and a changing town. There is so much to grieve, but what do we do with this grief?”

Join New Celebrates, Kehilat HaNahar-The Little Shul by the River, and Saint Philip’s Episcopal Church at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 20, for a unique time of ritual, healing, and restoration during this vulnerable time.

It is open for all who need a place to name their grief and pain and seek healing and restoration. This is an inclusive event open to all any faith or none. Join in at the promenade at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, rain or shine. Follow all COVID-19 safety protocols in place. Information: info@stphilipsnewhope.org.
