Princeton Festival virtual concert features Concordia Chamber

Posted

Concordia Chamber Players has put together an ensemble of virtuoso musicians to present “Source Code,” a virtual program for this year’s Princeton Festival, available at 7 p.m. Friday, June 4.

Filmed and recorded on location in Sand City, Calif., the performance opens with a work of the present time, then ranges through the Romantic and modern periods, with works by composers such as Giacomo Puccini, Hugo Wolf, and Jean Françaix offering a variety of moods and styles.

Musicians are: Alexi Kenney on violin; Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu on violin; Jonathan Moerschel on viola; and Artistic Director Michelle Djokic on cello.

The video link is $25 per household. The proceeds from ticket sales do not cover the costs of the concerts.
