NOVA welcomes Children’s Advocacy Center director

Posted

Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) welcomed Deidre Arabadjis, as the new director of the Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center (Bucks CAC).

The CAC is a service of NOVA, established in 2008, to manage a coordinated and multidisciplinary response to reports of suspected child sexual and physical abuse in Bucks County.

Arabadjis brings to the CAC many years of experience in the field of victims’ advocacy. She established and managed the Monmouth County Family Justice Center in Monmouth County, N.J. The center provided multi-disciplinary services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The county’s prosecutor’s office, law enforcement, mental health providers and civil legal service all collaborated in this center to assist victims as their case went through the criminal justice system.

Arabadjis also worked for 180 Turning Lives Around, a program of the Monmouth County Family Justice Center, where she managed client services for its residential facility and developed the volunteer/intern program. Prior to her work in victim advocacy, she worked in sales and marketing at Fortune 50 technology companies. For over a decade, Arabadjis was responsible for overseeing global accounts and negotiating enterprise-wide contracts.
