Newtown physical therapy practice marks 15th anniversary

Posted

Mulligan Physical Therapy of Newtown, marks its 15th anniversary this month and is celebrating this milestone throughout the year.

Physical therapist Brain A. Mulligan founded the practice in 2006 with the goal of providing the area’s best, most comprehensive care by offering patients more time, attention, and flexibility than other facilities. Over the years, he has grown the clinic while keeping it small and specialized enough to intently focus on each and every client as an individual.

As COVID-19 has disrupted many areas of life over the past year, Mulligan Physical Therapy’s one-on-one approach has proven essential, keeping patients’ treatments and progress on track with a versatile, nimble approach and offering telehealth and in-home services in addition to therapy at the clinic’s Newtown location.

“When I opened my doors in 2006, I wanted to create a culture of excellence and a 100% patient-focused approach that would consistently deliver the highest level of care for patients,” Mulligan said. “What definitely hasn’t changed over the years are my passion for helping people and my gratitude that I’m able to earn a living doing just that. I love my profession because I find it so rewarding to help people to overcome challenges and difficulties, regain function, and improve their lives.”

Mulligan Physical Therapy is the recipient of several honors including the 2015 OpenCare Patients’ Choice Award, winner of the Bucks Happening List every year from 2016 to 2019 and finalist for 2021, and the 2020 Best in Medicine Award of Excellence presented by the American Health Council.
