Local author pens mystery novel set in Lambertville

Posted

Local author Mark McNease has once again featured Lambertville, N.J., in a murder mystery.

His sixth book in the Kyle Callahan Mysteries series features couple Kyle Callahan and Danny Durban who have moved from New York City to make Lambertville their home.

They open a bed and breakfast just as a writers convention comes to town, bringing with it egos that result in a clash – and a murder – of titans. A guest or two at their B&B find their lives dramatically ended, and Kyle teams up with his old friend Linda Sikorsky, retired New Hope police detective, to stop a killer who may be staying at the house.

This marks the return of Kyle Callahan after several years’ absence, and the first book with his new life in the Delaware Valley. McNease lives in Kingwood, N.J., with his husband, Frank Murray, and their two cats.

“Reservation for Murder” is available on Amazon in print and eBook.
