Lenape Valley Foundation to hold workshop on parent-child interaction therapy

Posted

Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) is offering a free virtual workshop focused on parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT).
The session will take place noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24.
This one-hour workshop, led by Jennifer Moran, director of IBHS Services at LVF, will provide information on what PCIT is, who it is for and how it works. PCIT is an intervention that focuses on improving the relationship between caregiver and child while increasing the child’s positive behavior. LVF plans to begin offering this therapy in the coming year.
For more than 60 years, Lenape Valley Foundation has partnered with residents of Bucks County encountering mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental challenges, providing services to assist them in the pursuit of their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life.
