Finding the truth is a difficult prospect

Posted

On May 28, Senate Republicans blocked an effort to find the truth regarding the origin of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

Meanwhile, in China, authorities have blocked efforts to find the origin of COVID-19.

In both cases, it is extremely important to know the truth in order to prevent future attacks, whether it be by extremists in this country or by a virulent enemy.

Regarding COVID-19, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick has said “We deserve answers. Come hell or high water, I will not stop until we get them.” I’m glad to hear that our representative is so determined to find answers regarding COVID-19; he voted nay on appointing a commission to investigate Jan. 6?

The obvious questions to both Republicans and China are: What are you scared of? What are you hiding? Yes, we need to know the truth about COVID-19, but we also need to know the truth about the attack of Jan. 6.
