Forty six children and 31 adults from the surrounding area came to volunteer at Family of God Lutheran Church in Buckingham’s second annual MLK Day of Service.
Thanks to grants from the Southeastern PA Synod and Thrivent, the church was able to buy all the supplies for all the projects.
The children prepared 47 pieces of artwork for Neshaminy Manor residents, 67 breakfast bags for Caring for Friends, 55 gratitude bags for Veterans for Bucks County Military Affairs Transportation Program, eight fleece tied blankets and 80 school supply kits for Lutheran World Relief.
