“Show Off” is by Gail Bracegirdle, who presents her watercolor paintings in the Bell’s Tavern Dining Room, 183 N. Union St., Lambertville, N.J., during the months of July and August.
The colorful and unique paintings focus on her “Crinkled Paper” technique. Thoroughly wetting the paper and gently crinkling it with her hands, Bracegirdle begins painting on the wet surface, applying details as it begins to dry. She then gently irons the paper and competes the painting with finish detailing. She is an exhibiting member of Artists’ Gallery, 18 Bridge St., Lambertville, N.J.
