Opening at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, artist Chee Bravo joins the early trail of fellow artists Pearl Mintzer and Gordon Haas, who have been featured in a monthly exhibit series at Odette’s River House.

In addition to her over 21 original artworks on display, Bravo will unveil her most significant print piece to date, “Les Demoiselles du New Hope – LOVE,” a “28 by 37” silkscreen, inspired by Picasso’s “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon” and the famed mannequin graveyard at Love Saves the Day (LSD) at Bridge & Main streets in New Hope.

The series launched in March and serves as a new initiative to support the New Hope Arts Center through art sale proceeds from Odette’s. The Artist Series at Odette’s is open to the public, and discounted parking can be secured in advance by phone 215-682-2022 or email info@riverhousenewhope.com.

Information can be found at riverhousenewhope.com/happenings/new-hope-artist-series/.

Bravo’s opening public reception occurs in the Rhapsody Ballroom from 6 to 8 p.m. May 18. Guests additionally will have an opportunity to take part in a 50/50 raffle for $20 per person, further benefiting the New Hope Arts Center.

Each 50/50 ticket holder will receive a complimentary glass of wine and the chance to win Bravo’s smaller silkscreen. Bravo’s selected work during the series will be available for purchase exclusively at Odette’s on May 18.
