Revolutionary War re-enactors provided a fitting salute Saturday, June 4, for Bob Gerenser, a lifelong New Hope resident who was known for his portrayal of General George Washington. About 100 people witnessed the 21-gun salute followed by some of Gerenser's cremated remains being blasted out over the Delaware River from a period cannon.

In this video, he is standing outside Oscar's former home, Highland Farm, where all of Oscar's most famous works where created - including the landmark musicals "Oklahoma!", "Carousel", "South Pacific", "The King and "I and "The Sound of Music". The property is being turned into a museum and is seeking donations to make the project a reality.
