Plumstead Christian boys’ tennis posted a 4-1 victory over Palisades Thursday. 1st singles: Nate Newborg (Pal) def. Lucas Cooper (PC), 2-6, 6-4, 7-6. 2nd singles: Jeff Melanson (PC) def. Logan Tubiello (Pal), 6-0, 6-1. 3rd singles: Steven Assaad (PC) def. Ryan Currier (Pal), 6-4, 6-1. 1st doubles: Tyler Amann and Jared Cave (PC) def. Luke Wysocki and Reed Spangenberg (Pal), 2-6, 6-2, 6-2. 2nd doubles: Seth Hamilton and Zach Woods (PC) def. Alex Nicholas and Sam McCaughan (Pal), 6-4, 7-5.

Palisades girls’ basketball won easily at Plumstead Christian, 44-14, Monday. Karlee Krchnavi had 16 points to lead the Pirates. Joey Noonan had 14 in the winning effort. Ruth Thurston paced the Panthers with 6 points. Paige Gresham added 4.

New Hope-Solebury field hockey clawed out a 1-0 victory in double overtime Tuesday over Plumstead Christian in District One action. Junior Madison Ghiz scored the game-winner on an assist by senior Marisa Mazza with 4:54 remaining in the second OT. Faith Christian boys’ soccer turned a sure loss into an unbelievable win Thursday against Plumstead Christian, rallying from a 2-0 hole to win, 3-2, in OT, as Cameron McDonald headed a free kick into the Panthers goal 59 seconds into overtime. The Lions scored their first goal with 3:34 remaining in regulation, then tied it with 0:15 seconds left on a corner kick by McDonald. With the win, Faith Christian claimed possession of the Bicentennial Athletic League Constitution Division.
Melanson kicks Panthers past Pirates

Senior Jeff Melanson, assisted by Andrew Johnson, scored in the 32 nd minute as Plumstead Christian boys’ soccer edged host Palisades, 1-0, Friday. The Pirates outshot the Panthers, 6-5. Brandon Klinger stopped 6 shots in goal for Plumstead; Jack Reynolds had 4 saves for Palisades. The Panthers improved to 6-1-1; the Pirates fell to 6-6-1.
