Sponsors celebrate Bucks County Opoly debut
First Federal of Bucks County recently hosted the sponsors, creator and benefactor of the upcoming fundraising promotion of Bucks County Opoly at its Loan and Administration Center in Yardley.
Bucks County Opoly is a fundraiser for HealthLink Medical Center to showcase and celebrate the cultural, historical and recreational aspects of Bucks County with a real estate trading game like the original game.
Games will be available for sale for $24.95 each at all Giant supermarkets in Bucks County, county Visitor Centers, First Federal of Bucks County branch locations and other locations listed on buckscountyopoly.com. They are also available online for shipping.
The goal is to raise $40,000 for HealthLink.
HealthLink Medical Center is a nonprofit organization providing free medical and dental care to working, uninsured adults living in Bucks and Montgomery counties with incomes at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
According to the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, the economic impact of organizations like HealthLink is such that for every $1,000 invested in the clinic, there is a $3,000 return in the community.
“We’re pleased to be a part of the Bucks County Opoly fundraiser and act as the games ‘Money Sponsor,’”said Jeane Coyle, First Federal president. “It is a great way to bring community support to an organization that is truly helping the community and those that need medical and dental assistance. The game is a true showcase of Bucks County and the locations we are recognized for.”
