Sink your teeth into Roxey Ballet’s “Dracula”

As a special annual Halloween event, Roxey Ballet presents Bram Stoker’s “Dracula – A Dance Performance You Can Sink Your Teeth Into” through Oct. 28.

Choreographed by Mark Roxey, “Dracular” performances take place at Canal Studio Theater, 243 N. Union St., Lambertville, N.J., 7 p.m. Friday, 4 and 7 p.m. Saturday, and 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday.

Roxey, and his wife, Melissa (also a ballet dancer) started the Roxey Ballet Company in 1995. A nonprofit compant, Roxey’s mission is to: deliver artistic excellence through professional dance performances, residencies, educational programs, workshops and master classes.

The company takes pride in its multicultural and all-inclusive organization, fostering a creative environment of growth for all. Roxey Ballet performances are fully accessible to those with disabilities. Programs such as “Wheels and Bodies in Motion” were also developed for artists with significant disabilities.

Roxey Ballet’s educational programs are being conducted at eight different schools in the region. Schools, including Bucks County and other Pennsylvania locales, as well as New Jersey schools, can inquire about education assemblies and workshops on the website.

Tickets for “Dracula” are $37 to $39 in sdvance and $40 to $42 at the door.

​Performance run time is approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
