Breaking news:

Women’s instructional shooting clinic offered

The Easton Fish and Game Association together with the National Rifle Association (NRA) will host its 10th “Women on Target Instructional Shooting Clinic” Saturday, July 14, at its facility at 2595 Redington Road East in Lower Saucon Township.

A morning session, from 8 a.m. to noon, and an afternoon session, from noon to 4:30 p.m., are available. Female participants will have the opportunity to shoot rifles and handguns. No experience is necessary, and equipment will be provided. Women will learn how to safely handle a firearm and how to safely store them at home. They will then proceed to the range for live-fire training, one on one, with a qualified instructor.

The cost is $35 per participant. Pre-registration is required. Women who register after the 40-participant limit is reached will be placed on the standby list and have the first opportunity to be included in the next Women on Target Instructional Shooting Clinic.

For information, or to register, contact Clinic Director Michael S. Klacik at 908-240-3645 or mklacik68@gmail.com.
