Terhune Orchards hosts Apple Days Harvest Festivals

Join Terhune Orchards in Princeton, N.J., on any or all weekends, from Sept. 15 through Oct. 28, to experience the joy of fall on the farm for Apple Days Harvest Festivals, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.

During these seven fall weekends, enjoy the view of trees laden with red, golden and green apples during a tractor-pulled wagon ride around Terhune’s preserved farmland.

Explore its corn-stalk maze. Sit and listen to old-fashioned country music. Warm up with a cup of freshly pressed apple cider and donuts. Stroll on the Farm Trail and pick apples and pumpkins.

Children’s activities include scavenger hunts, rubber duck races, pumpkin painting and many more ways for children to interact with nature, including the Adventure Barn and the barnyard, where they can visit the animals. Children can take a pony ride or have their faces painted, too.

Every Saturday and Sunday during the seven fall weeks, Terhune Orchards features live music played by some of the area’s best local talent. Most bands are returning by popular demand.

Pam’s Food Tent is and the winery tasting room will both be open, as will the farm store.

The Columbus Day Weekend festival will be three days, due to the holiday.

Admission on festival days is $8, ages 3 and up. Parking and access to the farm store and winery is free. Visit online for information on the festivals, pick-your-own and more.
