McNight, Jungr, McDaniel play RRazz Room New Hope

The RRazz Room at The Clarion Inn & Suites, 6426 Lower York Road, New Hope, hosts singer Barb Jungr and Grammy and Emmy award-winner John McDaniel Friday, Aug. 17, and singer Sharon McNight returns Saturday, Aug. 18.

Jungr and McDaniel bring their newest collaboration: “Float Like A Butterfly – The Sting Songbook,” to the stage at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17.

The show features some of Sting’s best-known and also lesser-known songs.

Jungr is known for her performances and interpretations of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Jacques Brel. McDaniel is a pianist, singer, arranger and partner in banter. He is a conductor and composer who has worked on Broadway and on TV.

MAC Lifetime Achievement, Bistro, Broadway World and Nightlife award winner and Tony nominee McNight performs at 8 p.m. Aug. 18.

In “Gone, But Not Forgotten,” McKnight salutes the late Legendary Ladies of Song – including Martha Raye, Madeline Kahn, Pearl Bailey, Patsy Cline, Ethel Merman and Judy Canova. James “Jim Bob” Followell plays piano.

McNight tips her hat in a tribute to some of the great women singers and comediennes whose names live on. She has chosen a signature song by each legendary lady and some historical tidbits as well. The audience is encouraged to play along before each song.
