Bucks County Choristers forming in September

Conductor Patricia Guth leads her women’s chorus at a recent concert.

Patricia Guth, founder and director of the Bucks County Women’s Chorus (BCWC) is forming a new group, the Bucks County Choristers.

“Our new choir–Bucks County Choristers–will be very much like Bucks County Women’s Chorus in that it will be a non-auditioned group open to singers of all ages and skill levels,” Guth explained.

“We’ll perform what I like to call ‘light’ repertoire.”

The new choir will rehearse every Wednesday evening from September through the end of May.

Members will pay a monthly fee for membership and purchase their own music.

Concerts will include twice-yearly performances for friends and family, as well as performances at local events and venues. Guth expects this ensemble to present six to eight concerts per year.

Those interested in the choir can email Pat Guth at buckscountychoir@gmail.com or call her at 215-968-9542.
