River Towns Chamber hosts show by local artist

“The Guardian” is by Patrick Walsh of New Hope. His work is on view in Lambertville, N.J., through June 30.

“River Towns, Bridges and Things,” a collection of work by local artist Patrick Walsh, is on display for the month of June, at the Delaware River Towns’ Chamber of Commerce Center, 77 Bridge St., Lambertville, N.J.

His work was shown at the National Academy of Design in New York, and both his abstract and traditional works were published in the Millennium Edition of “New Art International.”

More recently, Walsh was invited to exhibit his abstract painting at Artexpo New York 2018. He has exhibited locally at Phillips' Mill, Side Track Gallery and others.

“River Towns, Bridges and Things” will include scenes from New Hope, Lambertville, Frenchtown, N.J., and Washington Crossing Park, as well as some of Walsh’s abstract works and portraits.

Walsh is a lifelong resident of Bucks County and a recent resident of New Hope. He studied at Bucks County Community College and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.

His work is on display in public buildings, including the Delaware Valley Veteran’s in Philadelphia; Doylestown Hospital; Chandler Hall in Langhorne, The Good Shepherd of Penn Medicine, Kinetic Therapy Center in Chalfont; and Fox Chase Cancer Center in Furlong.
