American Heritage honors students

American Heritage Credit Union awarded 20 $1,000 college scholarships to young credit union members.

American Heritage Credit Union’s Scholarship Committee selected the 2017 scholarship recipients based on their scholarly merits, community and school involvement, a letter of recommendation, and a submitted essay describing something the recipient has done that has made a difference in their community, school, church or organization.

A Scholarship Banquet held at American Heritage’s Main Campus on May 10, honored: Patrick Blaha from Weaver Academy for the Performing & Visual Arts in North Carolina, Shayna Cohen from Central Bucks High School South, Michael Creighton from Palisades High School, Nicholas DeFilippis from Methacton High School, Robert DeMerlis from Springfield Township High School, Kiara S. DeVore from Bishop McDevitt High School, Victor Diaz from La Salle College High School, Julia Domenick from Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, Alexandra Ellis from Archbishop Wood High School, Olivia Grover from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Amira Guy from Highland Regional High School, Christian Hanna from Central Bucks High School East, Taya Harding from Girard Academic Music Program, Thaddeus Hill from Norristown Area High School, Dominique Marino from Council Rock South, Vyanna Melvin from W.B. Saul Agricultural High School, Breanna Oltman from Hammonton High School, Amy Ouattara from Central High School, Jacqueline Strobel from Wilson High School, and Dorothy Zhao from Council Rock High School North.
