Steve Zazenski gives live demonstration at Hutton Galleries

“Rockport Spring” is a watercolor by Steve Zazenski.

As part of Patricia Hutton Galleries’ spring exhibition titled “Joyous Spring!,” watercolor artist Steve Zazenski will do a live demonstration at the gallery from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

Zazenski is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society. He is the winner of more than 150 awards and is in collections worldwide.

Those collections include: The Library of Congress, The Smithsonian Institution, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Muskee, former Polish President Lech Walesa, Richard Kiley and more.

Zazenski has been a full-time artist since 1978. He is primarily known for his watercolors of traditional landscapes inspired by Bucks County, New England and his many travels to Europe and the U.K.

His awards include those from the Phillips Mill Art Exhibition, the American Artists Professional League, the New Jersey Watercolor Society, The Salmagundi Club, the Rockport Art Association and more.

Zazenski is a sought-after demonstrator for private and public art associations and has developed a series of classes and workshops titled “A Logical Approach to Watercolor.”

“Steve’s paintings are the first Bucks County works I collected when I moved here 30 years ago,” said gallery owner Patricia Hutton. “I love the freshness, the light and shadows and his subject matter. He has a large and loyal following at our gallery.”
