Trinity Buckingham shows digital photography

Trinity Buckingham Church will host an opening reception for an exhibition of digital composite photography by artist Janice Fiore in Faith Hall from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18.

The public is invited to attend the free event, at 2631 Durham Road in Buckingham, at the intersection of routes 202 and 413. There is ample parking behind the church.

Fiore’s exhibit also will be open for viewing from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, and 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

“Janice Fiore’s medium of digital composite photography intensifies the visual experience by melding images, textures and backgrounds with blending modes, filters and lighting effects,” said Regina Gordon, minister of music at Trinity Buckingham.

“These extraordinary photographic compositions transcend ‘normal’ photographic boundaries and transform the actual into the incredible. In Fiore’s words, ‘Imagination’s the thing!’”
