The Flemington Jewish Community Center presents musical entertainment by the West Side Woodwind Quintet (WSWQ) at 3 p.m.. Sunday, March 19, at 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington, N.J.
In the quintet’s New Jersey debut, it will perform works by Franz Josef Haydn, Gustav Mahler, and Samuel Barber, as well as selections from “Carmen” and “Fiddler on the Roof.”

The members of the quintet comprise the principal woodwinds and the French horn player of the Broadway Bach Ensemble, an amateur New York City-based orchestra. They have participated in chamber music workshops in New York City and performed at other venues throughout the New York metropolitan area.
The Center Series, a programming initiative of the Flemington Jewish Community Center, brings readings, lectures, films, musical performances and plays to the community, with all programs open to the general public.
Upcoming events include the movie “Orchestra of Exiles,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1; a mother-daughter presentation by authors Kate Siegel and Kim Friedman, based on their book, “Mother Can You Not,” at the annual Sisterhood Women of the Year Brunch on Sunday, May 7; and Israeli author Noa Baum’s talk about her unlikely friendship with a Palestinian woman at 10 a.m. May 21.
