Rotary club fetes two Pennridge seniors

Two Pennridge High School students recently were named Students of the Month by local community service organization, Perkasie Rotary.

Kyle Yoder was named Student of the Month for January. The son of David and Kristen Yoder of Dublin, Yoder is a senior at Pennridge High School. He is an active student and athlete. He has taken special courses throughout his career at Pennridge High School including 13 honors courses, while also being involved in baseball and basketball throughout his academic career.

He is an active volunteer participating in service with Calvary Church of Souderton and a mission trip to Haiti last year. Additionally, he is involved in National Honor Society. He plans on attending college to study mechanical engineering.

Hannah Fair was named Student of the Month for February. The daughter of Sara and Keith Fair of Perkasie, Fair is a senior at Pennridge High School, excelling in academics, taking five AP courses. She also has participated in many activities, including National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She is an active volunteer with Grand View Hospital and traveled to Haiti last year for a mission trip. In addition, she has been involved with Cairn Community Theatre Arts Academy since junior year. She will attend Cedarville University to study English. She hopes to be a published author in the future.

Perkasie Rotary serves the Pennridge School District area, hosting events throughout the year to show support for and raise money for important community efforts. To learn more about how to get involved, email perkasierotary@gmail.com.
