Buddy Holly tribute show returns to New Hope Winery

New Hope native Jared Mancuso stars as Buddy Holly in "Not Fade Away" at the New Hope Winery.

“Not Fade Away” returns Sunday, March 19, to the New Hope Winery.

The show is a tribute to the music of Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper, and more. Six young artists bring the audience back to the days of swoonin’, boppin’ and rockin’.

With fresh new takes on classic hit songs, including “That’ll Be The Day,” “Peggy Sue,” “Everyday,” “Summertime Blues,” “Oh Donna,” “La Bamba,” “Chantilly Lace,” “Beggar to a King,” and “Twist and Shout,” audiences won’t be able to resist getting up on their feet and dancing the night away.

Buddy Holly is considered by many to be the father of rock and roll. Holly, who died in an infamous 1959 plane crash at age 22 along with Valens and The Big Bopper, will be paid tribute to by Jared Mancuso.

The 30-year-old Mancuso is a singer, dancer, actor, song writer and musician who recently portrayed the rock legend on a national tour through Florida. Mancuso returns to his home town of New Hope, after having a sold-out show at the New Hope Winery last April.

The musicians/actors of “Not Fade Away” will take you on a fun journey through the music of an era that lives on at the New Hope Winery on Sunday, March 19, for another performance. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Visit the winery online for tickets and information.
