One of the custom tote bags Perkasie-based Eric & Christopher, LLC makes for lifestyle brand Beekman 1802 has been featured on the Home Shopping Network.

The owners of Beekman 1802 – Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge – spoke about Eric and Christopher Oct. 22, on national television. Ridge said, “Every year when the baby goats are born on our farm, we take a photo of that year’s baby goats. We call this the ‘over the wall tote.’ Two of our artisans – Eric and Christopher – print these bags, and hand sew these bags in the U.S.A.”

Eric & Christopher makes its own brand of decorative animal pillows, totes, aprons, tea towels and ornaments, and a large percentage of the six-year-old business is making custom products for large and small companies like Beekman 1802.

Eric Fausnacht, co-owner of Eric & Christopher, said, “It’s pretty incredible to see how far we have come. We have made over 20,000 custom totes and other textile products for Beekman 1802 within the past four years, and we are proud to say every item was 100 percent made at our Bucks County, Pa., headquarters.

“We cut the fabric, screen print it, sew it and ship it. That’s pretty rare in the textile product industry to make it all here in the states. We are so thankful that Josh and Brent value the craftsmanship of our products, and the relationship we have as two U.S. businesses supporting each other.”

Other custom clients of Eric & Christopher include but are not limited to: The Plaza Hotel (NYC), The Hotel Hershey, Pine Cone Hill, Barkbox, the Smithsonian Institute and L.L. Bean. Eric & Christopher’s products have been seen on MSNBC and HGTV.com, and in the Good Housekeeping Holiday Gift Guide in 2017.

Chris Kline, co-owner of Eric & Christopher said, “We started out screen printing and sewing pillows in our homes just over six years ago. I think keys to our success have been the quality of our products, and the support of businesses like Beekman 1802. From small brick-and-mortar stores to larger retailers, we are proud to continue developing relationships that will help our business grow and make an impact on other American-owned businesses.”

The Beekman 1802 “Over the Wall Tote” made by Eric & Christopher is available through the Home Shopping Network website.
