Penn Investment Advisors executive will present financial independence program at Bucks

Sean M. Schmid, Chief Operating Officer of Penn Investment Advisors, will present a session on achieving financial independence as part of the six-session certificate program, Launch Pad to Success.

Schmid’s session will be held on Oct. 11, at Bucks County Community College’s Upper Bucks Campus in Perkasie. In the session, Schmid will identify the steps to financial freedom, including paying off debt, building an emergency fund, saving for retirement, and more.

“Every day, we make choices about when, where and how we spend our money. Those choices can significantly impact our financial lives,” said Schmid. “Understanding how to evaluate those options, so you can make better choices for the long run, is the first step on the path to financial freedom.”

Penn Investment Advisors offers investment advice, retirement planning and wealth management solutions that fit the client’s unique circumstances.

Schmid’s session, and Launch Pad itself, are free to participants, thanks to sponsorship of the program by Bucks County Community College, Sisters U and Penn Community Bank. Led by local business experts, Launch Pad to Success is a six-module certificate program designed to teach participants techniques to embrace leadership, communicate confidently, make a good first impression, gain financial literacy, and more. Launch Pad is designed to help participants meet their professional goals, such as being hired for a job or securing a promotion.
