Roesinger exhibition reflects life in local villages

“Lambertville on the Delaware” by Cindy Roesinger is part of her exhibition at The Bank of Princeton Community Gallery in Lambertville, N.J.

“Cindy Roesinger: Village Life” is a collection of oil paintings reflecting a visual narrative of the local villages along the Delaware River.

From a softly rendered view of the Prallsville Mills in Stockton, N.J., to a sweeping panoramic of the river and Lewis Island in Lambertville, N.J., her paintings depict life in the Delaware Valley.

The exhibition will be on view at The Bank of Princeton Community Gallery, 10 Bridge St., Lambertville, N.J., Oct. 16 through Nov. 13, with a reception from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, and a Meet the Artist event from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.

Awarded the distinction of being one of the world’s best minimalist painters in 2016 by the American Art Award association, Roesinger works in oils and mostly alla prima.

Following a career in photography, Roesinger, a self-taught painter, transitioned into oil painting in 2005, after moving to Bucks County.

Her work has been the recipient of several awards, and has been displayed, collected, published and featured in numerous books, magazines, electronic media, galleries, and private collections.

Roesinger resides and works in Doylestown. For information, or to see more of her work, visit Cindy Roesinger Fine Art online or call 215-794-2472.
