SCORE workshops offered

SCORE Bucks County, in conjunction with national speaker Randi Penfil, a Google trainer, will offer a “Google Get Your Business Online” workshop on Jan. 18 and 19.

The local chapter of the national SCORE organization is partnering with Google for the workshop, which is designed to help customers more easily find local businesses online.

Attendees will update their business information on Google search and maps and will learn about website best practices. Penfil will explain how attendees can run their business more efficiently with online tools, including applications for improving collaboration and communication.

The goal of the workshop is for customers to find local business in Google.com search results, as well as Google Maps and on mobile devices through Google My Business.

Penfil will offer insight on: how people find businesses online, search engine optimization and web analytics.

SCORE Bucks County’s Google Get Your Business Online workshops will be held on Jan. 18 at New Britain Borough Hall, 45 Keeley Ave., New Britain, beginning at 9 a.m., and on Jan. 19 at the Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce, 409 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills, beginning at 9 a.m. Cost is $20.
