Call for entries issued for Americana Exhibition

Sledders enjoy the snow and sunshine outside the Mercer Museum in Doylestown.

The Americana Exhibition is returning to the Pennsylvania Center for Photography in Doylestown, where it has grown into one of the Northeast’s premier photographic shows.

It features a traditional print exhibition as well as the very popular large-screen, digital exhibition for photographers who are too far away to deliver physical prints or who otherwise do not wish to print their images.

The call for photography is now open and will close on Feb. 14.

Historically, the show has drawn entries from 20-plus states and a variety of foreign countries.

In addition, the Americana Exhibition features the unique Camera Club Challenge, in which clubs from New Hampshire to Virginia have competed for top honors, with the Princeton Photography Club winning for the past two years.

The exhibition will be free and open to the public from March 16 to April 8. Details are at pacenterforphotography.org.
