BCCC hosts registration for spring semester classes

Bucks County Community College offers several opportunities for interested students to register for the spring semester.

Students may register through Tuesday, Jan. 16 in time for the start of classes Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Current students can complete the registration process online at bucks.edu/spring. Prospective students may apply online or in person, and then drop in for placement testing, academic advising and registration at the Linksz Pavilion, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, on the following days: Thursday, Jan. 11, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 12, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1 to 9 p.m.

More than 400 courses are available this spring, with the main 15-week semester starting Jan. 17, and additional courses starting Feb. 5 and March 19. Classes meet at the original campus at 275 Swamp Road, Newtown; the Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks at 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol; and the Upper Bucks Campus at One Hillendale Road, Perkasie. In addition, nearly half of the courses are offered through Bucks Online, the college’s award-winning virtual campus.

Bucks, an open-admission, public college that does not require SAT or ACT scores, offers nearly 80 programs of study. Access is paired with affordability as tuition is $145 a credit for Bucks County residents, and most credits transfer to a long list of four-year colleges and universities.

Registration deadlines are Jan. 16 for courses staring Jan. 17, Feb. 2 for courses starting Feb. 5, and March 16 for courses starting March 19. Payment is due at registration, and payment plans are available.
