Third Thursdays at Glen Foerd are back starting May 16 with a happy hour, live music, food, family fun, children’s activities, and art.
The Thursday dates from May through August, will be May 16, June 20, July 18, and Aug. 15, each from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Glen Foerd is located in Philadelphia, just outside Bucks County.
To each Third Thursday event the public is invited to bring a blanket or chairs, enjoy lawn games, roam Glen Foerd’s grounds, and explore its Gilded Age mansion, which will be open for free self-guided tours.
Donations are appreciated but not required, and attendees are asked to register in advance by visiting Glen Foerd’s events page at www.glenfoerd.org/events.
The first Third Thursday at Glen Foerd event on May 16 will include live musical entertainment by Matt Davis’ Aerial Photograph, an ensemble that explores the intersection of jazz, contemporary classical, and folk music, as well as social, cultural, and historical observation through aural histories.
